Pricing
Plans are per user: a user is on the Free plan unless they hold a Paid seat in your account. Your account's administrators give Paid seats to members of your account.
$0per user / month
No charge.
$50per user / month
Plus tax. Billed in CAD if your billing address is in Canada, USD otherwise.
A search is a request to find datasets (currently the search_datasets tool). A describe or query operation is a request to describe a dataset or retrieve data from one (currently the describe_dataset, distinct_values and execute_sql tools).
No. Sending feedback, and saving, finding and opening saved queries, are never counted, and reaching a monthly limit does not stop them.
A search or operation counts only when it succeeds, or when it fails because of the request itself: for example, invalid arguments, a dataset ID that does not exist, or a query our checks refuse until it is changed. It does not count when it fails because of SaysData, a data provider or one of our technical limits, or when we cannot tell that the request caused the failure. While one is in progress, we may treat it as counted until it finishes.
At the start of each calendar month (UTC). Limits apply to each user separately in each account, and unused allowance does not carry over to the next month or pass to another user. A user's counts continue when their plan changes during a month.
We may refuse further searches or operations of that kind until the count resets or, on the Free plan, until you are given a Paid seat. Going over a limit is not, on its own, a breach of the Cloud Service Agreement.
Your account's administrators give Paid seats to members of your account, and remove them. We may also, at no charge, give a user a Paid seat or raise or remove their limits, and end either at any time.
Canadian dollars if your billing address is in Canada when you start paying for Paid seats, US dollars otherwise. The price is $50 per user per month in either currency, plus tax. The currency does not change while you pay for any Paid seat.
